FAMILY FUN RIDE

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can kids come? Do they need to register?
Yes! Kids are welcome, and will need to register. We have 2 rides planned - a 5 mile ride around down town and a 25 mile route that will take you further around the city.
  • Are the streets blocked off?
No. Riders will be on open roads and will need to obey all traffic laws. The ride starts at 8 a.m., so we are not anticipating lots of vehicles on the road.
  • Can I register Sunday Morning?
Yes, but we are encouraging everyone to register online so we have some idea of how many riders we will have, and to make the registration process easier.
  • Where do I pick up my shirt?
All packet pick up will be done the morning of the ride. Registration will be from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. The registration desk will be at 14th and Wyandotte.
  • Will there be a SAG?
Yes, the SAGwill be available for long course riders only in the parking lot of Operation Breakthrough.
  • Will there be other events downtown that morning?
YES! The bike race will be running from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., two blocks from the Power & Light district. The second annual Power & Light art festival is also that day. Come down for the ride, stay longer to enjoy the activities and downtown!
  • Why are there two registration fees - $25 and $5?
The purpose of the ride is to raise both money and awareness for Operation Breakthrough. Through the kind giving of our corporate sponsors, we are certain to raise at least $25,000! While we would love everyone to register at the $25 level, we want to encourage everyone to come enjoy the experience!
